Did you know?
You can obtain grants to train your staff?
The CITB can provide assistance for micro and small construction companies to develop a stronger skills base. This includes access to grant eligible training.
Who can apply for funding?
If you are a CITB-registered employer with up to 99 directly employed staff on the payroll you can apply for funding once every 12 months.
What training is supported by CITB Grants?
Grants are available for training directly related to the construction industry and listed on CITB’s website.
These training programmes, which include health and safety courses and non-construction related training such as management and supervisory courses specifically tailored for the construction industry, have been approved because they meet industry agreed standards; are priority areas for grant funding; and align with the Industrial Training legislation.
How much you can apply for?
You can apply for funding related to how many direct employees you have:
- Employers with 1 to 49 directly employed staff can receive up to £5,000.
- Employers with 50 to 74 directly employed staff can receive up to £7,500.
- Employers with 75 to 99 directly employed staff can receive up to £10,000.
How to apply
You will need the assistance of an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in order to claim your grant from the CITB.
As an ATO Rawlings can ensure you receive the grant support that you are entitled to.
We are offering all of our retainer clients a meeting on your premises to identify your training requirements and put you in contact with the relevant people at CITB to ensure you receive all the funding you are entitled to.
